This Privacy Policy explains how MorigDeal collects, uses, stores and protects user data. MorigDeal is a digital platform that connects users with each other to request and offer services.

2. What Data We Collect

Account data:

Email, password in encrypted form, first name and last name. This data is needed to create an account, sign in and use the core platform features.

Profile data:

Phone number, date of birth, gender, biography, city, country, profile photo, contact links and social links, if the user adds them.

User-created content:

Service requests, descriptions, categories, work format, address or city, uploaded images, messages, reviews, reports and records of blocked accounts.

Technical data:

Device push-notification token and platform, if the user enables notifications. MorigDeal does not collect precise device location, contacts, health data or financial information.

Payment-related data:

At this stage, MorigDeal does not have internal payments, subscription packages or payment card/bank data processing enabled. If paid features are enabled, this policy will be updated before the feature is launched.

3. Which Data Is Visible to Other Users

For the platform to function, some information may be visible to other users:

First name and last name, or the name shown on the profile;
Profile photo, biography, city/country and qualifications;
Service requests, including title, description, category, work format, location and uploaded images;
Rating and reviews;
Contact links and social links, if the user adds them to the profile.

Email, password, password reset or email verification codes, device push token and technical data related to account security are not publicly visible.

4. How We Use Data

We use data for the following purposes:

Account creation, sign-in, email verification and password reset;
Operation of profiles, requests, messages, reviews and notifications;
Management of security, reports, blocking and moderation processes;
Ensuring the proper operation, support and improvement of the application;
Responding to legally required requests.

5. Third Parties and International Processing

MorigDeal does not sell personal data of users. Data may be processed by service providers that help us operate the platform:

Supabase - database and file storage;
Resend - email verification and password reset messages;
Expo - push-notification delivery.

Data may be transferred to competent authorities only in cases provided by law, for example based on an official request or a court decision.

Service providers may be located or process data outside Georgia. In that case, data is processed only for platform operation, support, security or purposes required by law.

6. Biometric Authentication

If the user enables biometric sign-in, Face ID, Touch ID, fingerprint or other biometric data is processed by the device operating system. MorigDeal does not receive, store or process user biometric templates or biometric data.

7. Security

Data is transmitted over a secure connection. Passwords are stored in encrypted form. File storage and the database are managed through services used to operate the platform. However, no online system is absolutely secure, so users should protect their account password and device.

8. Retention Periods and Account Deletion

Account, profile and user-created content data is stored while the account is active or while the data is needed for the platform to function.

The user can delete the account from the application. When an account is deleted, core data related to the account, requests, messages, reviews, qualifications, device tokens and uploaded files are deleted from active systems.

Copies of data may temporarily remain in backups or technical logs until they are deleted by the system cycle.

Certain data may be retained for a longer period for security, fraud prevention, rule enforcement, legal requirements or dispute resolution, if such retention is necessary and justified.

9. Minors

MorigDeal is not intended for minors. If you believe that data of a minor has been processed on the platform, write to us at info@morigdeal.com and we will review the matter.

10. User Rights

The user may request access to, correction of or deletion of their data. To make a request, write to us at info@morigdeal.com from the email address used to register the account.

11. Changes

MorigDeal may update this policy from time to time. In the event of material changes, the updated version will be published on this page with a new date.
